Erkuden Rios leads CyberSecurity research-team in IT-Competitiveness unit in Tecnalia and is product manager in the CyberSecurity and Trust strategic group within Tecnalia. She is currently leading technical Requirements and architecture work package in ANIKETOS FP7 IP, and acting as advisory and expert in RISC project (Physical and Logical Security Convergence for Resilient Critical Infrastructures – CIPS Program) led by Tecnalia. She is expert in trust and cybersecurity engineering technologies, and has worked in a number of large European and Spanish national projects on the subject such as CIPHER, CHIRON, SHIELDS, and nSHIELD. Erkuden is also candidate expert advisor of ENISA, and member of the NIS platform Risk management and Research and innovation Working Groups. She currently co-works in the Industrial Initiative Sec4Scada (www.sec4scada.com) launched by Tecnalia at the beginning of 2013, focused on the Risk Management development of Critical Infrastructures taking into account both physical and logical threats and vulnerabilities. Erkuden is also professor in the security engineering master course by the University of Deusto, and is member of the Program Committee of CloudSecGov 2013. She collaborates with Technology Platforms and Forums such as Spanish Technology Platform on Trust & Security – eSEC and NESSI. After obtaining her bachelor in Telecommunication engineering at the University of Basque Country (Spain), she worked for Ericsson Spain for 6 years before joining Tecnalia (former ESI) in 2003.
